Granite paving stones, manually cut and hand-joined. The surface displays natural patina, fine-grain texture, and subtle wear from long-term use, preserving authentic historical character. The Yin–Yang motif is hand-incised with precise chiseling, reflecting traditional craftsmanship.

Design & Structure
Circular central inlay composed of multiple wedge-shaped granite slabs, forming the traditional Taiji (Yin–Yang) symbol through contrasting darker and lighter stones. Joints are tight but subtly irregular, highlighting the handcrafted nature of the work.

Historical Context & Reuse
Originally featured in temple courtyards, ancestral halls, or traditional garden floors as a symbolic center of balance and harmony, these inlays are now reclaimed in their original state and used in heritage restoration, landscape design, or decorative projects, valued for their cultural significance and natural stone texture.
